Made in the Shade RV Park – Granville, TN near Cookeville, TN

Waterfalls, small-town sidewalks, and a quiet spot to park the rig: that's the pull of this RV park near Cookeville, Tennessee. Made in the Shade sits on Granville Hwy with full hookup sites, some right along the water, and an easy run up the highway when you want a day in Cookeville. Evenings back at camp stay peaceful, with a fire ring going and the stocked fishing pond a short walk from your door.

Cummins Falls State Park is the one most folks point the truck toward first, and the Cummins Falls State Park Visitor's Center is worth a stop on the way in. City Lake Natural Area makes for a slower morning by the water, and Cane Creek Park and Dogwood Park are both good places to let the kids run before heading back. Rainy afternoon? The Cookeville Depot Museum and the Cookeville History Museum give you somewhere dry to spend a couple of hours, and Ellie The Pink Elephant is one of those photo stops nobody in the car forgets.

Come back hungry and you're in luck. The camp store turns out pizza and wings until 8:00 PM, breakfast starts early for anyone with a full day planned, and Dippin' Dots keep the kids happy. Free WiFi, laundry, private bathrooms, and a tidy, well-kept setting round out a stay that's easy to settle into. Open year-round, all ages welcome, and the folks running the place will help you get situated.

Made in the Shade is a fantastic campground with beautiful lake views and the BEST hostess. Miss Penny is incredibly helpful and always smiling. This place has a family feel and is a close knit community. Town is within walking distance and a fun place to visit!

This is the best park with the best park host. I’m really writing this review as a response to the one star review that Spencer left below. It’s all lies. I was there and that’s not how it happened. This person lied getting into the park because she told the park host she had insurance and she didn’t. She even told me other residents that she didn’t have any family and so we all tried helping her out- But according to that review below, she has a daughter. The Made in the Shade owner gave her a refund, tried to put a roof over her head for free, and even offered to keep her items until she figured it out-But she got mad at them when she realized nobody would be paying for her camper because thats what insurance is for. Nothing is wrong with that park and nobody could control those trees falling. It seems to me that karma came knocking for those scam artists.
